More on Killarney

Killarney is so beautiful. I have more photos now and so another posting.



There is a lake inside Killarney National Park. The view is breath-taking. I wish I have more time there.


Our jaunting car ride is wonderful. It start from the Mukross house, go around the big lake, into the woods where we find a cold but beautiful waterfall.
Cost us Eur 30 per car.

Chris was sitting behind the horse's ass which stain with horse's shit.

What a grand time it was. (Maybe not for Chris).

Muckross House was built for Henry Arthur Herbert and his wife, the watercolourist Mary Balfour Herbert. This was actually the fourth house that successive generations of the Herbert family had occupied at Muckross over a period of almost two hundred years. William Burn, the well-known Scottish architect, was the designer. Building commenced in 1839 and was completed in 1843.

After Killarney, we went to Ring of Kerry. Above was the most beautiful lake I ever seen. The water was so calm it , it was unnatural.

Fun Fun FunFair

I know, most of my posting titles suck. "Fun Fun FunFair"? haha..

On 28 July 07, we went to Killarney and visited Killarney National Park. Evening came, we spent some time in the town and the FunFair was happened to be there!

I visited many funfair during my childhoods in KL, this the first guailow's fun fair. Any different?
YES!! the rides they have there is much much better!!

Killarney - enchanted

Killarney can easily be one of the most beautiful place in Ireland. As in most towns in Ireland, Killarney town center is charming with pubs everywhere and most of the Irish we met are friendly and warm.

Killarney hosts one of the most beautiful forest in Ireland- Killarney National Park.


This park is so picture-perfect, it looks like some magical forest that you can only see in some fairy tale movies.




If you close your eyes and listen, you can actually hear the trees talks. :)


Don't be fooled by the inviting water flow of this waterfall, the water is freezing cold. Well, it explains why nobody swim here.
